OpenSpace ("OpenSpace," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit weareopenspace.com (the "Site") or contact us, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

- Cookies. The Site uses Cloudflare's privacy-first, cookieless analytics and does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies we set are strictly necessary to operate and secure the Site. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.
How we use information, and our legal bases
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- To respond to inquiries and communicate with you — performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site — our legitimate interest in running a functional, secure website.
- To understand site usage and measure performance — our legitimate interest in improving the Site, using aggregated, cookieless data.
- To send marketing emails — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights — compliance with law and our legitimate interests.
Service providers and data processors
We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We work with a limited set of vetted providers who process data only on our behalf and under contract:
- Hosting, security & analytics — Cloudflare (content delivery, security, cookieless analytics).
- Email — our email provider, used to receive and respond to your messages.
- Forms & storage — if you submit a form, your submission may be stored with our forms or database provider solely to manage your request.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of OpenSpace or others.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers (including Cloudflare) may process data on servers in the U.S. and other countries. If you access the Site from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred across borders. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Inquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@weareopenspace.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.
EU/UK residents. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Security and breach notification
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulators as required by applicable law.

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
